the Flying Continent/Arkluna
- a moving landmass that migrates across the planet's surface, usually hiding in the cloud layer; the view from Arkluna is generally a cloud sea
- said to be the home of the gods or of terrifying monsters; Arkluna is in truth the home continent of demons, and contains their capital city
- low gravity, the air is kind of thin but demons don't breathe air so they don't really give a shit
- unofficially sort of at war with Arterra's major religious order, who don't like demons
- as a rite of passage, demons throw themselves off Arkluna when it passes over the continent they'd like to descend to and spend the high-speed descent meditating on what kind of person they want to be as they leave their home among the stars
(this makes up a surprising amount of shooting star sightings)
the Desert Continent/Tensere
